Origin story

After 20+ years of rewarding work with the nation’s leading children’s hospitals, it was time for a change…

Change is uncomfortable. We fight it. We push back. Rarely, do we embrace it. But when we do, what happens next is truly amazing. The TED 2023 theme of “possibility” opened so many doors, fueling a desire to contribute to companies, non-profits and individuals, that are seeking to change their part of the world for the better. Motivated by that sense of shared mission, we are excited to be instruments that amplify the impact of purpose-driven organizations.

In order to do this, our family combined forces and talents to launch the Gedney Company. While primarily a vehicle for Jennifer to offer her skills and expertise through consulting, advisory and facilitation services, Gedney Co. is a learning lab for our daughters to take leadership roles in starting this business with an eye towards shaping their future careers.
